    The oat, sometimes called the common oat, is a species of cereal grain grown for its seed, which is known by the same name

     

    ½ cup Oat Groats
    2 cup Water
    ½ Tsp Salt
    Stovetop:  Bring water and salt to a boil. Add Oat Groats, return to a boil and reduce heat to medium
    high, boil uncovered for 30 minutes or until soft. Remove from heat, drain off excess liquid and serve.
